Yeah, so I thought I was dead too. The past month and a half, going on two, I’d been in a stale ass hospital room in a coma in some hick ass town nowhere near my hometown. Turns out, I was in a medically induced coma and I just woke up a couple days ago hella confused and I barely knew who I was. It took me seeing myself on a news update to remember anything. Thank God for my diligent doctors working around the clock trying to put the pieces together on who the Jane Doe was in room 204.

Yeah, I had been a Jane Doe this whole time because they were unable to identify me properly. Someone basically burned off my fingerprints, so they had no idea who I was. My fingertips were actually just healing, and they had bandages all over them. Not only that, I looked a hot ass mess and I had bumps and bruises everywhere. But, most of them were healed now. Apparently, a fisherman in the local farm area discovered my body in the back of his pickup truck and immediately called the police to report it because he thought I was dead. Hell, I damn near was; they said I was barely hanging on to life. I had lost a lot of blood and I was badly injured from being hit by a car.

I had all kinds of fractured bones, ribs, and surface wounds. Basically, someone tried to kill me and get rid of the evidence far away from where the crime even happened because I didn’t even live out here. The man said he had been out driving his truck earlier that day and, of course, my body wasn’t in the back of it. It wasn’t until later that night that he discovered it, so it was like someone waited until it got dark to just put my body somewhere and pin it on someone else. Whoever tried to get rid of me were complete idiots because they did a horrible job of trying to hide me.

The doctors had to comb through all of the local county news stories themselves because administration who was usually in charge of that had been shut down for the month for some type of business issues. Usually, when a person came into a hospital and they didn’t know who they were, they checked missing persons reports for that city. But, since I was not from here, no one recognized me and the news story didn’t run in this county. My story was never heard. But, thank God to my doctor trying tirelessly to figure it out.

My aunt and sister just got here an hour ago and it had been World War 4 ever since. They were looking to sue because the people in my county apparently tried to say they found me dead already. They still had no idea who that dead girl was they found, but it wasn’t me. I hadn’t been awake for two days and already everything had been going crazy.
